Steps to follow when organizing your work:


·         Timing: The presentations should take between 5 to 7 minutes each.

·         Organization: when you prepare the activity, bear in mind
  - the target: age group
  - the source: you devised the activity? Found it in a book? Other source?
  - Ch 10 by Celce Murcia et al.: clearly specify the activity or technique your
     presentation is based on, as explained in this chapter.

Celce-Murcia et al / Ch 2

We´ll be discussing the topics in this chapter through a practical standpoint. Any external contributions, like Second Language Acquisition knowledge, will be welcome.


The activities we´re going to deal with are on page 30, ex. 1 and 2, and on page 33, from the "Suggested Activities", point 1. This last point may include someone who has learnt any second language as, e.g. a foreigner who speaks Spanish.

Jacqueline Cornetta (Jacqui)  is the new Language Assistant coming from Indiana, USA. As from next week you can practise your conversation skills with her twice a week. It is not necessary to enroll previously! You can meet her according to the following schedule:
